Senior Data Analyst / Data Scientist (m/f/d)

About this job:

  • Take over the management of data & analytics projects and develop solutions together with our customers to turn data into insights
  • Analyse large amounts of data using statistical methods, identify options for action and provide technical guidance to other analysts
  • Together with our data engineering team, you will define the necessary data models and build data platforms for analytics purposes
  • With the help of ML, you will develop new methods to make automated decisions with data
  • Together with our team, you will further develop our service and product portfolios and take responsibility for sub-projects

What you need to bring:

  • 3-5 years of experience as a data analyst or data scientist
  • Very strong analytical skills and a background in IT, mathematics, physics, natural sciences or another discipline that emphasises your affinity for numbers and technology
  • Extensive experience in Python, Spark and a data visualisation tool such as Power BI; experience in other programming languages is desirable
  • Very good skills in the use of data lake / lakehouse infrastructure
  • Very good communication skills in German and English
